Smitty's Home Repair was founded by Gabe, a Northern California native who got his start as a commercial electrician before finding his passion in residential remodeling. After more than a decade hands-on in the trades — wiring commercial buildings, then tearing into kitchens, bathrooms, and full home renovations — Gabe built Smitty's on a simple belief: homeowners deserve a contractor they can actually trust.
Too many people have been burned by shoddy work, surprise charges, and crews that disappear mid-project. Gabe started this company to be the exception. His background in electrical work gives Smitty's a technical edge that most general contractors don't have — projects move faster, coordination is tighter, and nothing gets left to a subcontractor who doesn't care about your home the way we do.
We're a small, focused team — and we like it that way. Every project is managed personally, every client gets a direct line to Gabe, and we never take on more work than we can do well. We'd rather do fewer jobs right than rush through a full calendar.
